We are proud to announce that at this year’s festival, our official Charity is The Prince's Trust.
Around
one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or
training with Youth unemployment costing the UK economy a staggering £10
million a day in lost productivity, with youth crime £1 billion ever
year.
Youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps these young people to turn their lives around. They
give practical and financial support to the young people who need it
most, helping develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling
them to move into work, education or training. The
Prince’s Trust will help 50,000 young people this year, and needs
almost £1 million pounds a week to continue its vital work. Your support
will give disadvantaged young people the confidence and skills to get
their lives back on track.
They
have helped more than 650,000 young people since 1976 and support 100
more each working day with more than three in four they helped last year
move into work, education or training.
Note. We will also be donating a small percentage of the profits to two or three, small, local, charities - yet to be decided.
